This package is part of the Smalltalk Compiler-Compiler (SmaCC) written by John Brant and Don Roberts. It contains the classes used to create a new parser. It is only needed when developing parsers. While these classes can be used directly, it is suggested that you use the GUI in the SmaCC Development UI package to create your parsers. If you wish to use the code directly, you can browse the code in the SmaCC Tests for examples.

It was seperated from the SmaCC Development package to make porting SmaCC easier. The GUI can be accessed through the Tools menu in VA and VW, and through the Additional Tools item in Dolphin.
